Hello all, greetings from Boston. I have shadowed many threads here over the last few months and finally decided to join and participate.

I am currently an MFA Photo student and just recently picked up my first digital purchase in some time: the Pentax 645Z.

I've been shooting 8x10 for some time now and while I love the experience, workflow, and output of the 8x10 it started to wear on me. This wear was even further enhanced by my class schedule and program expectations in regards to output and printing.

Looking forward to being a part of the community and meeting some great folks.

Hello Boston from the wild wet woods west of Worcester. FYI: We do have ice cream out here - and a Hunt's camera, although I never shop there.

Hey! I grew up in Boston but now live in a small town 40 miles outside. I'm not too far from Worcester. I haven't spent too much time out in that part of the state but I'm trying to get to MassMOCA soon. Hunts, eh... Tough camera store! Overpriced

Came in today, looks solid... feels good. Certainly have those "new camera" jitters.
