Hi everyone, thanks for all your advice... I decided on changing bodies as I really need an articulating screen. I'd like the k-s2, BUT I can't buy a 180 or 200mm macro prime lens, which I really want in the future! That's a big deal-breaker. I'd also like a quiet shutter which apparently it doesn't have... I can't believe I'm about to buy a Canon EOS 70D with canon 100mm macro lens, as they have $300 cash back, which makes it $400 cheaper than the k-s2! I don't want to change my loyalties, but $400 is a lot to me!

Wendy, everything I've heard about the EOS 70D suggests you'll be very happy with it indeed. Sorry to lose you to Canon, but I'm sure you'll love the new camera and lens. When all's said and done, there are few (if any) bad cameras out there, regardless of brand.
