Hi from a Danish guy in Japan

Hi

I just joined as I have been lurking for quite a while.
I am a danish expat working in Japan fulltime and have a small photography studio on the side.

I recently did a full switch away from Canon to Sony. (Sony was me previous backup camera)
And I really enjoy using adaptors and non standard manual lenses on the Sony A7RII system.

I have recently bought a Pentax 67 to EF + EF to E mount adaptor + a Pentax 67 55mm lens.
And so now I want to play around with the wonderfull Pentax 67 second hand lenses and possible with leafshutter lenses.

Mostly as a private project for inspiration and fun.

Best regards,
Alf

Hej Alf

There is a small selection of Danes here - expats so to say, as not much happens around Pentax in Denmark.

Welcome from me too Alf,

Believe it or not: I have 200 meters, 5 kilometers and 12 kilometers to the nearest physical stores that carry a regular (reasonable to modest) stock of Pentax bodies and lenses. (But I am definitely not too impressed with the Danish distributor and often have to go to the UK for the specific gear/accessories that I want).

Thanks everyone.

@ Stone G haha, wow that is pretty impressive actually.
Here in Tokyo there are a lot of second hand dealers, and the Japanese take good care of their stuff, so you can find really nice used gear for a good price. (at least for the MF lenses I am searching around for)

Thank you all for the warm welcome.
I have been reading many f the lens reviews for 645 and 67 MF pentax lenses on this forum for a while, so once my adaptor arrives at end of December I hope to share my experiences and results with this forum.

haha, I'm already penniless
Good thing the old manual lenses are *fairly* cheap on ebay and yahoo auctions
There are also many good secondhand stores in Tokyo for old manual MF lenses.

Currently I'm just waiting for my adaptor to arrive.
