What lens(es) do you use with your K-50? I enjoyed viewing your flickr stream -- quite like the perspective in many of them with the scenes chosen. And that they're very sharp. Are you including any sharpening through photoshop on them?
Currently I am just using the stock lens, 18-55mm i think? I haven't had the K-50 for long so if you go further back into my photostream chances are you're see XZ-1 pics and not K-50. The first K-50 pic was the AeroPress (
https://www.flickr.com/photos/moonpussy/22212179688/in/dateposted-public/), anything from that point to current is likely 99% K-50.
I have been photographing awhile now, starting off with handsets such as the Nokia 808, K Zoom etc and then XZ-1. The handsets especially suffer more flaws and so I was getting pretty handy with Lightroom for assisting those pics in 'shining'. As you upgrade to better equipment (and get better with settings on equipment) I find that you need post processing less, or rather 1mins worth of tweaking. I shoot raw where poss, it seems to have a default of 25/100 sharpening set in LR, sometimes I may increase it slightly, other times decrease, depends. Increasing the 'Clarity' value also slightly is a tendency of mine. 99% of the pics I have on my flickr have visited LR, sometimes tho literally 30secs, others (especially black and white with splashes of colour) longer.
It's then also quite interesting that the changes I make on my monitor look better, but then viewing eslewhere sometimes (such as smartphone of TV) don't show the same effect I got from my gaming monitor.

I'm meeting up with my dad in Scotland in a few days, I'm really looking forward to taking pics of my auld city Edinburgh and apparently my dad has some old lenses that will work my my pentax that he's going to pass on (he's a bit of a pentax nutter too)
Feel free to follow me on flickr!
