I'm new to Pentax, to photography in general, but I'm already obsessed by it. So far Pentax has been a great choice although the market here doesn't agree with me.

Hello back from the South Pacific.

I am sure you will enjoy using Pentax gear if you stick with it. One of the huge advantages of Pentax is the ability to use old lenses easily and well. Generally, they can be found for very reasonable prices - both K mount and M42. The advantage of being in Central Europe is that you may be able to easily access some of the Eastern European and Russian M42 and K mount lenses easily. Don't be afraid to experiment with old lenses - they can give very interesting effects, look and colour signatures.
