Hi, I'm Tom from St Aug Florida. I'm 69 and married for 38 years. We travel every spring
in our Motorhome. This spring were going back Once again to Alaska. We traveled their
in 2006. 14k round trip....8k in fuel.....Yeah! Can;'t wait.....I hope to meet you good people

Pentax K-100D. Bought it in 2007 when we were in Maine. But looks like it may be time
for a upgrade before heading to Alaska this time....your thoughts...please. Its in great shape..
shot some pics today....I have a 18-55 & 50-200 Can't really afford a Macro Lens...but need
some advice on this Adapter or Tubes that I can use.....plus any REASONABLE Zoom lens
that I can get....I'll need MORE ZOOM on this trip.....Thanks much....Lets Connect

I'd recommend upgrading to the K-50 and getting a 55-300mm lens. That combo would give you more reach and considerably better image quality than your existing setup May as well also upgrade your 18-55mm to the newer version which has improved optics.

Welcome Tom! I agree with Adam, expecially on the 55-300 Pentax. It's a great lens, and can be gotten very reasonably. I envy your upcoming trip to Alaska, I had one trip there, & fell in love with Alaska forever!
