Hello from Nor Cal

I'm an old guy who has been taking photographs more than 50 years. I've used everything from a Kodak Starflash to an Argus C-3, a variety of other rangefinders over the years (with meters) and starting in 1973 my first SLR (Minolta SRT-101). I ended up with an extensive Canon kit, but in 1998 I bought a Pentax K20 and attempted to embrace the digital world (without much success). I also have a 645 that I continue using with excellent results.

After abandoning film (35mm) for a couple of years I have again picked up the K20, determined that the digital world won't defeat me. Anyway, I have been glad to find this site and have been lurking about for a while, and have recently become a member. It is my hope that this forum will help me get a handle on digital photography and the K20 in particular. The site has already been a good source of information on the Pentax system.
