hello and happy new year Pentax People.

Hello and happy new year to all of you.

After several years of reading this forum (since 2007 and my first pentax )

I'm French, but in fact, you already guessed this because my english is very bad :-)

Since 2007 I successively got a K200D a K-5 and a K-3, I love my Pentax toys, I'm found with old manual lenses, got a little set (some zooms, and some nice old prime lenses)

So happy to join

LBEL.

Welcome, your English is not bad at all and I have certainly heard much worse in Canada.

You will find a large number here have great appreciation for the older equipment as Kerrowdown says, especially the K lenses.

My older K beauties are the older "sisters" of Kerrowdown`s 15, 24, 50 f/1.2, and 85. They, along with their other family members, had my photographic funds accounted for by the time the "A" series cameras and lenses arrived. I see that new member LBEL has a piece of the action with K 28, 55, and 135 along with many other fine items.
Happy New Year to everyone, LBEL, you will enjoy the discussions here.

Wow, you must be really old then...

There's maybe hope for me yet.

I'm away to question them right now... to see if they admit to knowing a "From1980" at all.
