Hi I'm Kevin and I have recently decided to dump my 10 year old Panasonic bridge camera in favor of a K3ii, DA 16-85, and a DA* 60-250. I have been lurking on these boards since September and made my camera purchase in October. I was a photographic enthusiast as a teenager in high school and I felt that I wanted to get a good camera for traveling. I also thought that I might get interested again in photography in general. I was right. Now I have to learn how to take pictures all over again. Oh well. I'm looking forward to having fun while I go through the trial and error of relearning how to make decent photographs.
I am already starting to get LBA. I'm thinking of replacing the DA 16-85 with a combination of the DA* 16-50 and the DA* 50-135. I'm just worried about being able to get a decent copy of the 16-50, or maybe I should consider the Sigma f/2.8 17-50. Although, I guess that is really a question that I should post in the lens forum.
I'll leave you with a parting shot of Windsurf docked at Pigeon Island in St Lucia. The picture isn't great, but the ship was. We had a great time on our Windsurf cruise.
