Hello from the Pacific Northwest

After 14 years with digital 35mm I have returned to Medium Format (shot with Pentex 67 and Hassy for a number of years) with a new 645z system for landscapes and cityscapes. I was able to find answers to many of the questions I had leading up to my purchase here in the forum. It is an invaluable resource and I hope I too can contribute.

Looks like the rain has returned - no problem for the Z! Look forward to seeing your landscape work with that cam.

Welcome and congrats on the new gear!

I would imagine shooting a 55mm for a normal lens would not be the same medium format experience as shooting say a 80mm or 90/105mm for a normal lens but I'm sure it still will feel different than small format . I still shoot my 500C/M and Pentax 67. No reason to give them up just because I also got a digital. But then again I don't do many landscape type shots where I feel a need to be really serious about them.
