That makes it a little hard to get out there in the snow.
Same for me, I am going to places I can get to in my car and take pictures from the parking lot. But in my case, there are number of places like that. Yesterday a fellow photographer said to me, "there's an otter whole and all kinds of tracks 100 meters from here, leet's go" and I had to tell him I couldn't make it. Totally depressing. But within a 20 minute drive there are two parking lots I can drive to and shoot. Mew lake and Opeongo road. There's a fox at Mew Lake I haven't got an image of yet, and there's a mink at Opeongo road, I have no mink pictures at all, so I'm keen to get after both of them. But I get the sow thing. It hurts.... I really need solid footing. I come home from walking back and forth to my car and it hurts worse than any football game I played when I was younger.
I lived in Windsor Ontario from 59- 66, and spent a lot of time in Detroit and Ann Arbor.
