Introduction...of me;-)

Hi people,

My name is Chris and Iam from the Netherlands!
Dont want to swear on the Pentax Forums, but i have a Canon 70D, with some great lenses!
Resently i discovered the quality of the Asahi Super Taks while experimenting with M42 adapters, and now i have the 55mm F2.0 and the 135 F3.5...
Searching for information i kept coming back to this site and registered myself!

I am in love with the Takumars, they are really good, love the quality feel of those lenses!

Hope to read and learn al lot overhere!

Chris!

Welcome aboard. I have been using Pentax for over 40 years. One of my favorite lenses to use is my screw mount 55mm f1.8. I have owned it since it was new too. Pentax has made some awesome lenses over the years.

Hi Chris, Welcome! The Taks have a great reputation; I certainly plan on owning a few myself, down the road.

Welcome aboard!
The old glass makes you really think about the photography process, just like you would with film. Often that means the pictures are better.

That is true! thats why i like them! Have some old glas coming this weak!
Also recieved a 105mm f 2.8 super Tak this week, nice piece but not as sharp as my 135 f3.5!

@ Kerrowdown, I must say that if i did not have so much Canon (related) gear, I would consider swapping it for a K-3;-)
Allready have a old SV and spotmatic SP...

Chris, welcome to the forum

I started with Spotmatics and takumurs and that is all I used for my first 14 years of photography.

Enjoying what you have is good but I must warn you there are many on this forum who will encourage you to always want or need more
