Hasselblad user thinking of a switch

Hi Friends,

I have been a hasselblad 500 cm user with 50mm and 150 mm C T* lenses .
Needless to say I have been a very happy user . However its time that I move to digital and have been contemplating to get the 645D with 35mm , 120 mm and 200 mm A or FA lenses .Also I would wanna know how these lenses perform with a 645N body as I might be able to get one for film shooting only before I buy the 645D body.
I would like to know pentax users opinion on the same and any feeback or lens suggestions.

Regards,
Abhishek

Welcome to the forum, you might also want to consider the later version the 645Z.

welcome Abhishek You know that you can re-use your HaBla lenses with the Pentax 645 system:. https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/48-pentax-medium-format/145963-pentax-med...ml#post1524657 https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/48-pentax-medium-format/297826-fotodiox-p...ml#post3287574

I don't know how you survive with only a 50mm and 150mm on your 500C/M. Group pictures and head shots? I have the 50/4 CF FLE version and though I use it a lot I certainly would want a 80mm or 100mm too.

in former times (long, long ago ; ) ) a 35mm and a 90mm lens on a Leica, Contax, Nikon F or Pentax was the minimum equipment for a newspaper/ newsmagazine photographer. Even today you should manage most tasks in this theme with this equipment (135 equivalent). Imho 50/150mm lenses for a 6x6 system is not far away

When I can only take two lenses with me it would be the 60 and 150, a single lens only most likely my 100. I could see going with only the two but at the price of an 80 I would have one in addition to the 50 and 150.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome.

@tuco , well you are damn right in saying that I do needed a 80 or 100 in between 50 and 150 to fill in the gap . I even had an 80 that broke down due to age. I shot so much with the 50 and 150 that I never felt the need for anything in between.
Anything landscape I would use 50 and 150 but anything portrait - I would use only my 150 . Over time , I could actually believe that I could shoot only with 150 .
Strange things you learn when you restrict yourselves and learn by hard rules like zooming in and out with feet ...

Am really excited to know about the adapter but does any one know if the adapter can be used for C T* lenses too and can C T * lenses work with 645D. CF and other can I believe as they were designed to work with focal plane bodies too unlike C lenses.
Secondly, how good the IQ will be compared to pentax lineup? May be I will find out once I am able to shoot the 50 and 150 with 645D but wanted to know people's thoughts.

Hi Abhishek , of course you can use "C T*" lenses with this adapter with your 645D. . (The other question is imho at the Distagon 50mm - is it reasonable ? with the Sonnar I donīt see any problem )
