Hello from Smith Mountain Lake, VA. My name is Chris and I am an amateur photographer wanting to go semi-pro (part time). I really enjoy the outdoors and spend most of my free time hiking with my dogs and taking photos. I currently shoot with a K-50 and been doing landscape work as well as outdoor portrait work. I am just starting a business in my name and working on getting all of the gear that I need ( I know the wish list is always larger than the bank account). No matter what may come in business I just try to enjoy the photography and learn and grow constantly. I welcome comments from those like me or folks who had their start in a similar fashion. Thank you. Trying to figure this out on mobile. Couldn't find a way to upload without just pasting a link from my flikr account.

If you do paste a link that doesn't point directly to your image, make sure you use URL tags, rather than IMG tags
