Hello from Quebec

Hi
I am a farmer and have always enjoyed photography. I have to admit I am not much of an artist but I have my fun. My wife had an old ME Super with 50 f2 from her parents. It brought me into Pentaxland and I got a K-7 with the 18-55 1:3.5-5.6WR. The weathersealing appeared good to me as farming is sometimes wet and often dusty. I soon discovered that an excellent camera is not worth much without lenses and thats when I came accross the lense database here. That convince me to buy the DA* 50-135 (great in a combine harvester, fast but maniable, superb pictures) and the 21 Limited for compact walkaround. I hoped for a fast normal (DA*30 f1.2) and something like a 21 f2 but I think I'll switch to a K-1. I like where Ricoh Pentax seem to be going. Bring on the *primes!
I'll try to post some pictures when I figure out how it works. What is the simplest way? Uploading directly from my computer to an album or gallery? whats the difference? I see a link to album when I create a post and a button to add a picture like in an email.
David

Welcome to Pentaxforums David.

It is always great to have folks join our club.

There is a lens discussion area here where you can post questions. Lots of members eager to chime in there regarding their experiences with various Pentax and other brand lenses. There is also an extensive lens database covering all the thread and K mount lenses.

Thank you,
I looked at your galleries, I am impressed and humbled a bit. I went throught my tons of pictures and realize the land around my farm is FLAT. I can't compete with you Kerrrowdown even if I had such a sense for composition!
I posted two pictures.

Yes,
you can see Mt St-Hilaire on the left of the cold shot. Mtl is about 1/3 from the right. Haha, now you can triangulate my position.
salutations,
David
