Greetings from Chicago

Hi everyone,
So glad to have found this forum. I have a new K50 kit, with an Pentax 18-55mm f3.5-5.6AL WR & a 50-200mm f4-5.6ED WR. I also have a Pentax-D FA Macro 100mm f2.8 WR. I am new to the art of manual photography, though not too new to Pentax's. Looking forward to developing more skills and learning from you all.

Welcome from a bit outside Chicago. We have a forum here, but it's not active.
There are so many good photo opportunities in this area, I do some insect survey work in the prairies.

I am "a bit outside" the city too. So far, I've been photographing blooms and landscapes.

When the weather's been cooperative, I've been chasing bees. Looks like another terrible weekend, so probably no hiking around Fermilab this weekend. Just when all the trees are in full bloom, too.

Oh well, every year is different.
