Hello, sorry, this is just a quick post as I'm halfway through replying at the marketplace! I'll introduce myself better later. New to forums and new to Pentax

Ah, well, like I said, I am very new to forums, sorry for the awkward introduction! I've only recently bought a Pentax k-5 (after months of agonising over what camera to buy!) and am really really happy with it. It's fantastic to have this forum at hand - the amount of time I've spent browsing through the threads (whilst I should have been studying!) is ludicrous. I very much enjoy photography, although I'm rather new to that too. I look forward to being part of this community!

Welcome and congrats on the new camera. You might want to check the firmware version on your camera as I believe Pentax issued several updates that improved functionality.
