Hi,
I'm Simon Willig - vintage now
(from 1961).
I have been interested in photography allmost all my life - as a teenager my first camera was an Olympus Trip 35. When I was somewhere in my 20's, I bought a nice SLR equipment (I can't recall the brand - it doesn't exist anymore) but somehow - without my own development equipment thus dependent on the local photostore - I couldn't get myself to the next level. When someone broke into my house and took it all, I was completely done with photography.
...
At least that's what I thought. Some 10 years ago I think it began to itch again and I decided to by myself a DSLR. The Pentax K10D it became, merely because the gut feeling was allright and the specs were more than sufficient.
I became member of some photography forums and I'm still active on a nice little dutch pentaxforum.
My gear at the moment is:
Pentax K10D,
Sigma AF 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 dc macro hsm,
Tamron SP 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 DiII,
and some manual stuff, including a nice asahi pentax 50 mm lens which I use quite often.
