Thanks for helping me make informed purchases

Greeting all. Just wanted to thank all the contributors here for helping me make some informed lens purchases and avoid some potential duds. Very useful resource and great insights. I'm having a blast with all this glorious old glass. So nice to see it commissioned once again. Cheers.

It is what we are here for, with the possible exception of Rupert: he's here for the representation of squirrels.

Thanks PJV. I'm very much a novice but I'll post some pics before long just the same. In the last month or so I've scooped up 15 or 20 old lenses - mostly Pentax - and I've been testing them out. Some surprises in there but the Pentax/Takumars are the real rockstars so far.
