As a long time user and fan of Pentax cameras and lenses, I was happy to discover this forum. I have shot hundreds of slides with my trusty LX's and Fuji Velvia over the years and have reluctantly made the switch to digital. I have some nice SMC lenses from 24 to 400mm. Most recently I have acquired the 15mm f/4 DA. What a nice lens - built the way they used to do it!

I have a Pentax K200D and I know it's time for an upgrade.

Welcome to the forums! Your K200D is an excellent camera, rugged and well suited for outdoors shooting. Post some images when you can

Welcome to the clubhouse.
I used to have a K10D with a split-focus screen, quite nice with manual lenses. You might think about that with the older camera if you get a new one.

Hi sibyrnes. Welcome to the Pentax forums. You have a lot of history with Pentax and some good lenses too. Lots of help and advice here should you decide to upgrade camera bodies. Good luck.
