Twenty years ago I was about to buy my first SLR camera, and it was a battle between pentax mz-10, minolta dynaz 505 and canon 500n.
From the beginning Iiked the pentax most, but was convinced by the seller that the canon was the best of the line (and most expensive..)
I regretted my choice, kept thinking about the cool pentax, with the happy smiley face in the display to indicate automode .

After the a couple of canons and bought my first nikon, then I bought a superzoom panasonic that I kept till now. Under all those years I have been thinking about pentax for some reason, there have been some mysterious about it, nobody had pentax, its difficult to see them in the stores here, and I always liked to have things that not everyone else has.
I started to miss to shoot with SLR and DSLR isntead of compacts, so I decided its time, for a pentax.
Decided to go for Pentax k50. Then I felt it would be nice to start to shot analog again, and learn the basics again, to refresh, so went on to ebay, and bought a pentax SV, and my mania started. In a week I bought a KM, a Spotmatic, a ME super and also, I finally got my mz-10, for 0.99 £
with those alot of lenses, so now my newborn interest starts, and looking forward to learn from this forum alot.
