Ayyo! So incredibly stoked to finally become a part of this community! After my first dslr fell off Glacier Point a few weeks ago as I was saving my friend I was left camera-less.

The camera gods must have approved of my sacrifice and I ended up winning a generous $1000 scholarship from the Tahoe Art League that I intended to put towards a replacement.
I've spent months looking into the K1 and when the time came to order it I had no doubt in my mind that I was making the best choice possible for the type of photography I enjoy (landscapes for days)

Long story short - my K1 arrived yesterday and I had the opportunity to snap some milky way photos last night.

Looking forward to becoming a loyal Pentaxian

You're welcome. You probably have a lot more landscape shooting to look forward to with your K-1. Good luck.

Oh man, I can't wait! The only DSLR I've had is a T3i and it's basically a toy-esque joke compared to this beast! Looking forward to getting some better glass for it though
