Hello from the bay area. Currently do not own any pentax gear, however, I am making the jump and soon ill be asking for some feedback from you guys! Hope to work with you all and get a lot of knowledge from the pentax systems.

Welcome. Lots of friendly bay area pentaxians. The forum is packed full of info too. Search is your friend and the engine is pretty good.

if you are looking for a local store who carries pentax gear i can recommend looking glass photo in Berkeley. It's where I got my K-1 and a used FA 77mm ltd. But if you've got questions...the forum members are fountains of information...so ask away.

Oh I've heard about the store there. Haven't been there myself but thank you for the useful information. Something to definitely check out.
