Another bloody Australian

Hi folks!

Greetings from stolen Wurundjeri land, in so-called Melbourne, Australia.

I'm a long time peruser of these forums (endless scrolling of user reviews, anyone??), and have finally signed up to hopefully contribute something to the discussion...

I've been shooting on a Spotmatic F for about four years now- I love it to death. Somehow, though, one camera has snowballed into a full shelf of spotmatics, K bodies, lenses and endless pentax miscellany :/ I've come to appreciate the singular approach that Pentax take(took?) to build quality (as opposed to the consumer/pro dichotomy of other manufacturers)- particularly in their primes.

Not sure what else to say, really. But thanks for having me

Here's a few of my favourite photos of the last couple of years, shot on a Spotmatic F, SMC Takumar 35mm f3.5 (except for the herons- shot with a 135mm 3.5 tak):

thanks mark. some have it far worse though, I see!

I recently upgraded to an LX, so the affliction is getting whole lot more complicated...

I've already collected broken flash 01 and 02 for it... The TTL even compensates for the fact that they don't fire. I'm going to get them all.

Still the finest Pentax offering to date IMHO, but I must admit I'm likening the K1 a lot.
