Hi,
I'm Richard from the UK. I am an avid collector (the better half says hoarder) of old film gear. I love to use the old stuff as it has a better quality and feel to the new digital cameras, and can usually be fixed and service at not too high a price. I do however love my Pentax Q with its 01 prime lens and am enjoying learning to get the most from my K3

Hi Richard
A very warm welcome on this friendly forum.

I have quite a lot of old film cameras as well, from 35 mm half frame to full frame to 120mm roll ( in 8/12/16 per roll format), but must admit that since usable digital has come along ( k5) I have not touched them. In our neck of the woods nobody anymore that can service sticky shutters etc

Enjoy all the information here and post a few a well

Welcome to the forum, the good news is you can still use all that wonderful Pentax legacy glass with digital Pentax bodies.

Welcome from Chicago!

I'm a fan of both cameras as well (OK, mine's a K3II). The -01 lens on the Q makes it a little rangefinder, it fits nicely in the pocket. Use a little lens hood with it, too.
