I am a new member who has been taking photos since I was a child. My 1st "real camera" was a Pentax K1000 film camera.

welcome to our little corner of the internet, you'll find lots of great knowledge, experience, suggestions, and if you look close enough even a few "normal" people..

Welcome! Sounds like you'll fit right in! Lots of members here used Pentax film cameras, and many still use those lenses on the new digital cameras! Definitely one big plus to staying with Pentax
