Hello from Chile!

Hi there everybody!

My name is Wladimir, and I'm the proud new owner of an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic. Yesterday I went to my local electronic store (like a radioshack) and I found a AG3 button cell for its light meter and thankfully it's fully operational. I won this camera over an US auction on ebay, so I'll be putting a film in it today to start my little photo adventure with this beautiful camera.

Thanks for reading!

Welcome to the clubhouse!

Those old cameras can be a lot of fun. I presume the seals all look good?

I've been tempted to put some film in my old K1000, just to do it again - I grew up using my Dad's old fully manual Minolta.

Welcome, enjoy that "new" camera, it's quite a machine.

Yes they do (: at least the on that's directly over the mirror looks perfect, and the ones in the film chamber too. The seal that's glued near the chamber's door it's a bit worn, but not too much.

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome, I hope I can post some of my pictures soon.
