Old oldie

Hi gang, I've been shooting photos since the 1970's, was a newspaper photographer & editor in the 80's & 90's.

I got my first Pentax, an MX, back when they were new (I worked with Nikon systems on the job, wanted something different at home) and have had at least a couple of Pentax cameras since. Now that I am older and have the resources, I have bought all the "I will own one of those someday" cameras that I wanted, and am enjoying playing with them and shooting a lot of film. My recent obsession is with my newly acquired Pentax 645n.

Welcome to the forum, we all had Nikons back then for work, I still remember my F3's fondly.

Hi, and welcome to the Pentax forums. What a wonderful position you are in to have amassed all your " toys " and be able to play with them. Hope to see some of your photographs soon.

I look at mine fondly daily... I bought the old warhorse when they surplussed it off from the department after we switched to digital in 2000.

Thank you all. Impatiently waiting for my newly purchased 35mm f/3.5 A lens to arrive, planning a landscape trip this weekend
