K 50 brackets takes multiple exposures (at same exposure). Please help.

I recently purchased a K 50. On my first big backpacking trip, I was taking brackets and everything was fine. It took low, mid and high exposure pictures. Then, all of a sudden, it started taking more than three. Sometimes as many as 12 in a single bracket. And duplicates of the same exposure. (Like 4 copies at +1.0, 4 at 0.0 and 4 at -1.0). Not sure why. I can't get it back to three exposures per bracket. Any recommendations? Being the battery hog it already is, this becomes a serious problem when I'm miles from a recharge source. Not to mention it makes editing harder than it should be having to sort through all the duplicates.

Thanks for the help.

Are you in burst mode w/ bracketing? Check the current drive mode setting.

I'm kinda new to this. Just stepped up from a bridge. Not sure where to find burst mode. The main menu or the shot mode (right arrow key)?
