Hola Everyone

Another newbie checking in... I got a Pentax K-1 a few weeks ago, and I'm completely stoked with it. I switched from Canon after accidentally killing my Rebel a year or two ago, and then being camera-less for far too long. Right now the only gear I have for the K-1 is the DFA 28-105 mm, but I'll be looking to expand my collection when I can. I'm a biologist and shoot mainly critters/nature, and dying to get a macro lens.

See ya on the forums,

Natalie

Great shots!
I photograph insects and plants in the field, and have an FA100 f2.8 macro - though the WR version is probably the one to get. I also have a Sigma 28mm f1.8 macro which is quite nice. I'm interested in how good that 28-105 is stopped down to around f16 with flash support. It may be better than you expect.
