Welcome aboard, please don't tell us poor Scottish folk how wonderfully sunny and warm it is there.

Welcome to the forum! Please join us in the Post Your Cloudscapes thread. I don't do anything special when shooting clouds except I check the histogram so I don't overexpose the highlights. With brightly light clouds I'm usually at 1/250 @ f/16 and ISO 100. Looking forward to seeing some of your images posted here.

Welcome the the clubhouse!

I have decent polarizer for one lens, which does make some striking cloud/sun photos. I don't do it often, though, since I rarely have that lens and filter with me.
