Soon a K70 user...

Hi! I've used a Pentax Point&shoot camera for a long time, but now I'm moving to DSLR with the new K70 (just ordered). I'm eager to use it and to learn how to make better pictures.

I'll keep an eye on this forum!

Hi vgStef. Welcome to the Pentax forums and to the new K-70 !!! Not many members have this camera yet, so we will be most interested in what you think of it. Good to have you here.

No, mount is still KAF2.

Understand the confusion. What I should have said that this camera supports KAF4 lenses. These will not have mechanical aperture levers. First one was recently announced (note that mount is KAF4):

Ricoh also introduced a new Pentax HD DA 55-300mm f/4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR RE lens priced at $399.95:
Focal Length 55-300mm
Equivalent to 84.5-460mm in 35mm format
(when attached to PENTAX APS-C size DSLR cameras)
Maximum Aperture F4.5-6.3
Minimum Aperture F22-32
Lens Construction 14 elements in 11 groups
Angle of View (Diagonal) 29-5.4°
(when attached to PENTAX APS-C size DSLR cameras)
Mount KAF4

from RICOH site the Pentax K70 supports the KAF4:

PENTAX K-70 Specifications
Model Description
Type TTL autofocus, auto-exposure SLR digital-still camera with built-in retractable P-TTL flash
Lens Mount PENTAX KAF2 bayonet mount (AF coupler, lens information contacts, K-mount with power contacts)
Compatible Lens KAF4, KAF3, KAF2 (power zoom not compatible), KAF, KA mount lens

This is important since only K1, KS2 and K3 II can support this mount if you do a firmware upgrade. Older bodies including the K3 will not work.

Oh! I see now. I did see that in the description on PF so assumed it wasn't available. I stand corrected. Thanks for the more informative answer.
