Hi, joining the Pentax club.

I just got into photography and this is my third camera system and my last. Started with Olympus then to Fuji, now Pentax. I will in a few days will be buying Pentax 50mm f1.8 and using it on my Fuji until I get me a Pentax camera in the future. Also have vivitar 70-205 macro legacy lens(k mount) that I love and got good results using on a Olympus. Here is a couple a pictures of butterflies using said lens on my em5. Thanks for letting me join and will post more about myself soon.

Welcome to the forums and to the Pentax family - great to have you with us! The DA50 f/1.8 is a very capable lens. I don't know whether you'll have the ability to stop it down when used on your Fuji, but even wide open it can deliver some great results. Of course, on a Pentax camera you'll have variable aperture and autofocus, at which point it becomes really versatile...

Welcome, if this type of photography is your thing, you might want to consider a legacy macro lens while you out shopping for lenses.
