Joining the Pentax fold

Hey all!

Having dabbled in photography for some time, I decided on the K-70 as my first DSLR, (I've used the 7D, but this is the first I've owned)
I'm loving it so far, and I was pleased to find I'm liking a lot about the Pentax brand as a whole. I'd previously never given them much consideration as I was always under the impression that they were just a cheap no-good brand... like Polaroid or something.

Will be providing some pics soon!

Welcome aboard! The K-70 is a fine choice- quite a capable body given its price.

Welcome, even though you have admitted the error of your ways...I'd still whisper talk like that around here.

An excerpt from the Pentax timeline

1966 1 million SLRs!

After only 14 years of manufacturing, PENTAX produces its one millionth 35mm SLR camera.

That was a very good year, if I do say so myself.

Welcome to the forums, plenty to see and learn about Pentax and photography in general, and as PJV said, your photographs are welcome.

Welcome to the forums - glad you could join us Congratulations on the K-70 - the reports I've read, and initial comments from users here on the forums, suggest its a superb piece of kit. Great choice!
