Hello from Normandy Park, WA

Recently joined the DSLR camera universe with a Pentax K-50. Besides terrestrial photography, I will use the o-gps1 unit for Astro tracking.

Picked up at an estate sale was a nearly new K-50 and two lenses for less than a single benny. Found the GPS unit at B&H.

Yes, sadly as an estate sale, the descendants just wanted it gone. I did explain that it's better than an iPhone (which came up in their camera discussion) for pictures, but I am not going to argue too much when I want it too

Thanks for that, we're a truly international forum here, so that really did get lost on me, like the Bill Murray movie "Lost in Translation".

Welcome to the Forums. If you find any more bargains like that, there are plenty here who would like to be steered towards them! Good luck with the astrophotography.

Hi Searefractor. Welcome to the Pentax forums. As the others have mentioned, that is quite a handy kit you have got yourself. Looking forward to seeing some of your photographs soon. Good to have you here.
