Hi from Switzerland

Hello,

I just joined few days ago after having read for many years a lot of your very cool reviews about lenses.

Back in 1985, I bought a K1000 with 2 SMC-Pentax "A" primes, mainly to pair with a telescope in order to do astrophotography. Few years later, in 2014, I choose to go digital and bought a K-3 with a kit (18-55 + 50-200).

I really enjoy using new and old "A" lenses on my K-3 and rediscover the pleasure of trying to catch THE picture.

Kind regards.

Jome

Welcome to the forums, Jome - glad you decided to join us after all this time

"A" lenses are fun, aren't they? It's nice to have the aperture control and metering convenience...

Thank you for your welcome.
The "A" lenses are not only fun to use, I also like their "old glasses" colours rendering.

Welcome aboard, couldn't agree more with the A lens usage, but then I'm a tad bias.

Hi Jome. Welcome to the Pentax forums. I know very little about Switzerland, so I am hoping that some of your photographs can educate me about your beautiful country. Good to have you here.

I might have to go to one of those meetings... where at the beginning you stand up and say "my names Kerrowdown and I'm an "A" series lens user".
