Hello

Hi I'm Nic

i use a pentax k1000 and a 50mm 1.4....i use kodak color plus

there is a small gallery here
Image quality review - should i upgrade? - Google Photos

I'm considering upgrading the lens to a zeiss kmount,,,,because i feel that i dont like the out of focus areas and colour rendition from this lens.

I would like to hear your knowledgeable opinions if you have the time. Thanks

Hello
Hi Nic. Welcome to the Pentax forums mate. Many members here still use film ( not me anymore unforunately) so answers to your question won't be far away. Good to have you here.

PS. Good photographs.

Thee are loads and loads of different lenses to try, not all as expensive as Zeiss.

Hello Nic - welcome to the forums, good to have you with us There are plenty of film shooters here, and we have more (like yourself) joining all the time, so you won't be short of company. Many of us have an (over-)active interest in lenses too, so I'm sure you'll get some useful opinions on your next step there
