I stumbled onto this site while searching for advise on a moderate zoom lens for a Spotmatic SP F. I am virtually all digital, but I began many years ago with various 35mm cameras as well as medium format cameras. I mostly used Leica cameras but also Minoltas and in later years I got back to a Pentax. (I used a Pentax H1a while in Vietnam in 1966) I will not likely be a member who comes here every day although I respect and admire those who are faithful to film cameras, especially the good ones.

Greetings from just north of the (OR/WA) border

My M42 'moderate' telephoto is an old JCPenney 80-200mm f/3.5 but it was just replaced by the smc-A 70-210 f/4. One old classic for another.
