I race a car in a very prestigious event the Goodwood members Meeting here in UK.
Goodwood famous for the Festival of Speed and the Revival.
The car is a replica of the 1981 car raced by Tom Walkinshaw and Win Percy among others

Despite numerous attempts to make contact the Marketting people in Ricoh/Pentax are just not interested.
This appears also to be inline with they invisibility in the trade press.

Anyone know why?

Sorry to hear you haven't had any luck with Ricoh / Pentax's marketing people. In all honesty, most larger companies have very-well-defined strategies for marketing and related spending, and if your channel isn't one they're interested in or have budget set aside for, it can be almost impossible to make in-roads. Keep trying, though, and good luck

Welcome to the forum, I think at times, that sites like this are in fact the marketing machinery for some of these companies.
