Hi - another newbie

Beeing an old Pentax fan, well at least since *istDL and some other stuff on the way like K10D, K-S1 & 2 and several K-mount lenses I bought the WG-M2 action cam and found it beeing the most stupid action camera Ive came across yet with its 5½ minutes of recording limitation (yes, I bought it for the 4K option but the camera records one 4Gb file and then stops requiring another hit on the REC button to shoot further)

Welcome, can't comment on the motion stuff... as I'm strictly a stills man.

Hello rc_krille, welcome to the forum!

You'll have to select 5, 10 or 25 min through the menu (See page 18 of the WG-M2 manual). I don't own one of these, but have looked at them quite a bit. Along with the Theta cameras too. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Ive done that but the bitrate goes from ~100 to ~60 Mbps (and only the 5min option is valid of course). (Another issue, changing settings with the app. resets to movie mode and the looping option has to be re-enabled through camera menus.) But, ok, with a 64Gb card I can record until the batt. is depleted.
