Hi from Wisconsin, USA

I've been coming here reading for awhile and finally this week got my first Pentax/Ricoh digital camera.

The lovely 645D, what a great camera. In new like condition with a few accessories and only 170 shutter count.

First lens to go with it is the FA 45-85mm 4.5

Wow, that's some way to begin your journey with Pentax.... a 645D, no less. Beautiful camera in every respect, and with 170 shutter count it's effectively brand new. Congratulations!

I recently sold a lot of older equipment (film cameras and related gear) and invested it into this camera.

I picked up the Pentax 645 DA 28-45mm F/4.5 ED AW SR lens also and should have it soon, shipping from Canada.

Pretty excited about it too.

Welcome aboard. Was that photo shot in the Dells? I have driven through the area about 10 times in the last few years but have never had time to get off the interstate to look around.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. That shot is from the Amnicon Falls Park, up farther north by Superior, WI. Took it out today and got some more good shots. I'll have to donate or find out how to post more pictures.
