As you know, french are arrogant, so I decided to put the title in french. My bad.

I am 25 years old and I started using pentax cameras with a k-r few years ago. I did not like that camera (and I still don't) even if it is very capable, I think it asks so much post processing to deliver good picture.

I nevertheless fell in love with the films cameras (MZ-6, *ist), lenses and i am looking forward to a cheaper Full Frame DSLR.

I like the community here and find the camera/lens database very useful (even if some of lenses are really overrated

)

I have found that at least in Paris if I tried speaking French the people were very friendly and helpful. The act of putting oneself into the native tongue seemed to thaw any ill will.

My French is rusty but I am happy to have you here. Je parle français très mal.

We discovered IPA two years ago.

I would love to visit Chicago. My favorite rock band, Wilco, is from Chicago...
