Hello from Germany

Hello boys and girls,

I am a new user from Germany and a long time Pentax user. I started with the SuperA and will end with the K1. :-)

Welcome! Where in Germany are you? My wife and I lived 1 year in Bad Sassendorf and 1 year in Soest. I'm sure you will find the members on this forum the most helpful you will find anywhere.

You will not believe, but I did a survival holiday with some ocker aussies a few months ago and they teached me the most important english words. (, ing, edi)

I have some picture from this motorbike/himalya tour on my homepage:

Indien

The pictures a done with the K1, FA* 28-70/1:2.8, DA 35/1:2.8 macro, SMC 135/1:2.5, Samyang 14/2.8. I can recomend them all, but look at the pictures yourself. The pictures are huge, so don't view them with your cellphone. .-)
All the Pentax gear survived the holiday, only some minor scratches on the K1. I am very impressed by the Samyang. Normaly 99% of my lens are made by Pentax, but the Samyang is a nice and sharp lens!
