Happy to hear it! By the way, I am now in the market for a flash to attach to the hot shoe. Something powerful enough to provide fill-in lighting in a fairly broad range of scenarios, yet simple enough for a beginner like myself. Any recommendations?

If you can live without bounce flash, I recommend this unit the Pentax AF200FG, not too pricey has worked well on my K3II thus far. I picked mine up on sale for 70 bucks.

Pentax AF200FG Flash 30465 B&H Photo Video

Full price now, but they will put on sale again, for 70 bucks it is a great basic flash.
