Greetings everyone,

I'm Abram from California and after many years away I'm re-entering the Pentax fold. Some 19-ish years ago I first learned how to use a camera and it was my Dad's MX with the SMC-M 28 f/2.8 and 50 f/1.7. I got my start with that camera and though I've been through the gamut of camera bodies and lenses from all manufacturers in the time since I'm now back with the K-1 and a couple FA lenses (guess what, it's the 28 and 50).

I'm still an avid film shooter but it's primarily on a couple Leica M bodies, sometimes an old Nikon F, Leica IIIf or a Hasselblad 500cm. Ultimately I love film, but I appreciate the convenience and quality of digital too and I'm super impressed with the K-1 so far and I'm looking forward to getting to know it as a system. I'm also looking forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome to the forums. I was in Long Beach for 19 years, now Santa Ana for 6 months so far :-)

Sounds like you're all set with K-1 and those FA primes, but I must warn you... these forums can lead to (un?)healthy interest in other lenses
