Hello from Argentina

Hi, I am Sebastian, I live in Buenos Aires and I own a Sony Alpha a6000, but almost all my prime lenses are Pentax-k types.

Before I forget, I really want to give a big thank you. This forum (mainly the lens reviews) gave me invaluable data when I was looking for used lenses here in my country. Modern lenses are really out of my budget, and a friend of mine gave me the idea to look for a pentax-k adapter and lenses. It was an excellent idea. This forum allowed me to check if the lenses I found were garbage or jewels.

After I found a well made and cheap Pentak-K adapter I found two jewels the same day!. This was about 6 months ago.
The first one is a Pentax-M 50mm f1.7. It's outstanding. I love it, and I think it is still my best lens.
The second one is a Pentax SMC 135mm f3.5 (the one without the hood). At first I didn´t like it a lot until I bought a basic petal-type hood. That improved contrast a lot, and now I love it too.
After a couple of months and just before a big trip around the US I found (almost a steal for 30usd here) a Tokina RMC 35mm f2.8, the K-mount type. It's the lens that is attached to my camera by default. Not as great as the 50mm f1.7, but more versatile for most "quick shot" situations.
Not only these three lenses are excellent glass, but with them I learnt a lot, including manual focus (Sony alphas have a "focus peaking" function that made the learning curve a lot more shallower).

In the US I bought a much needed super-wide-angle, so I "betrayed" my loved Pentax-K, and I went for a marvelous Rokinon 12mm f2 (also manual).

Thanks again, and I promise that I will make my own reviews.

Welcome from California.
Buenos Aires is a wonderfully photogenic city. I hope you can share some pictures as part of your lens reviews.
