Hello from London, UK

Hello - I made the switch from micro four thirds to Pentax (K-3) last year as I began to understand what type of photography I liked (landscape and people). The guys at SRS in Watford,UK gave me a good trade-in for my Olympus M43 kit and I got a used K-3 and DA* 16-50 from them. I hope that I can learn from this group and in time contribute. The forum has already been useful as I learned how to use a newly acquired SMC M 50mm F1.4 on my K-3 - so thank you already.

Welcome to the clubhouse! I'm sure you'll have fun, and find a traditional DSLR has some advantages over mirrorless designs. Though, the 4/3 are compact units.
Consider a sling strap for the camera, it's a secure and convenient way to carry.

Hi from California! I would be interested in hearing your m43 experiences some time and updates on how you are getting on with the K-3.
