Originally posted by jab2980 Welcome! Good luck on the newborn shoot... my best advice is to keep it uncomfortably warm. Also, be prepared for a 4+ hour shoot as there will be plenty of stopping and waiting for baby to be changed/fed/burped. What are you shooting with?
Thank you! I've done quite a bit of research on newborn photo shoots from youtube, forums, blogs, to talking with other photographers and other mothers to try and develop a good understanding of the process, and what to expect and what is to be expected. I'll be leaving for the shoot in a little bit. I've got 'plenty' of various color coordinating blankets (in neutrals and true colors), cloth diapers, space heater, step stool, patience, memory cards,5-in-1 reflector, white foam board, camera batteries, and my Pentax K-70 with 18-55, and 50mm f2. :-)

Thank-you all for such a warm welcome! You are part of the reason I chose to buy into the Pentax line of cameras. :-) Those Pentaxians are a friendly bunch! :-)
