Greetings From Texas

Hello to all. I am old & retired now so I'm dragging out my faithful Pentax and getting reacquainted again.
I plan to take mostly landscape stuff & bugs & such as that. I still have a few lenses left from my ME Super
that I plan to use on my digital & see how that work out for me. I like shooting manual but auto is nice at times too.
I'll probably just be listening in and taking notes.
See you around.

Welcome to the forum from another Texas resident. I still have my black-bodied ME Super - brings back a lot of memories.

What part of Texas are you from?

I live in a really rural part of East Texas so I'm fairly familiar.

I might suggest getting a reverse ring and some primes if you don't have anything yet.

I definitely went through my bug stage. There was no shortage of material that's for sure. You will have to get down and dirty but it can be done for sure.

Good lights are also a very big help. A couple of external flashes and you can rock and roll.

Welcome aboard, at least you've got the time now to do your photography.

Hello from south Texas outside of Austin, the bugs and insects are certainly active with all the hot weather here, there's even butterflies.
