From Trois-Rivières (Québec, Canada!)

Hi, thanks for adding me. I'm from Trois-Rivières, Québec Canada.
I've searched a lot on this forum before registering, and it's been an invaluable information ressource before I get some of the M42 lenses I own.
A couple years ago, my uncle gave me a 50mm f/1.4 and a 135mm f/2.5 Pentax M42 lenses. Both are tack-sharp and gave the best pictures I've ever taken with my Canon T2i (yeah, shooting digital with manual lenses).

From there, when I bought my Canon C100, the choice of getting prime lenses was already in favor of these old Pentax lenses over the Rokinon set (a little over my budget!). So I recently bought a quite "complete" set of old primes, including:
MIR-20m 20mm f/3.5
Pentax Takumar 24mm f/3.5
Pentax Takumar 28mm f/3.5
Pentax Takumar 35mm f/2.0
(already had the 50mm)
Pentax Takumar 85mm f/1.9
Pentax Takumar 105mm f/2.8
(already had the 135mm)
Pentax Takumar 150mm f/4.0
Pentax Takumar 300mm f/4.0

So, I'm now using excellent quality lenses, bought quite cheap for their built and optical qualities. Very happy!

Welcome to the forum. The Trois Rivieres caught my eye. My brother and I were talking just the other day about making an ancestry trip to your fair town, which is where my maternal grandfather's family is from. Also, looks like a nice collection of classic lenses you have.

Canon C100 Screenshots

As soon as I'll take some pictures with my T2i, I'll post them!
As for now, here's some screenshots taken from my C100 videos. First and last are taken from the 50mm f/1.4 and the LightMeter one was with the 24m f/3.5 I think.

Nice, I'll try to take some pictures of the City's best spots then!
Meanwhile, here's my first tests with the C100, at night when it was like -17°C outside! Vimeo and Youtube versions:

Thanks guys! I don't post often, but recently, I've just added a 200mm f/4.0 to the collection! Got it for like 50$ USD or so. Nice addition to the kit!

Hi Marc, welcome to the forum. Lots of Canadians here. BTW, I have an old Takumar 135mm, but it's an F 3.5. I bought it new, back in the '70's. I've got a M42 to K converter...I should hook it up to my K bodies, see how it does. Nice to see that Sekonic light meter. I have a few, my latest an L 398 Studio Deluxe.

I started with an old Brockway lightmeter, completely analog. Was nice as a start! Upgraded to a 558 used, and finally pulled the trigger on the 758 as I do more video than photography nowadays!
